Welcome to E2T. My name is Kimberly Talmey RPC-C. I am a Registered Professional Counselor-candidate with the Canadian Professional Counselor's Association. My husband, Dan, and I have lived in Saddle Hills County for the last 24 years near Woking, AB. enjoying the quiet wilderness, camping, hiking, and raising a family in this community.

The great news is that I have opened a new office space in the Central Peace Medical Clinic, Suite 146, called Essentials 2 Transformation.  I am open 9-5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointments only which you can book by calling me directly at (780) 814-1224 or online at https://essentials2grief.janeapp.com/. Please click on the first consultation button for Spirit River and then fill in the Welcome package.

The first 30 min conversation is free! I also offer Zoom or Telehealth services online as an alternative. I understand that sometimes traveling for services can be challenging.

Recently, I have completed training and supervised hours to become a Registered Professional Counselor-candidate offering psychotherapy, counselling services, trauma recovery, crisis management, grief counseling, complex grief counseling, and family counseling services including divorce care, depression, anxiety, grief and loss (11 different types), and other mental health struggles that can have a profound effect on our everyday lives. In the near future I will be offering group counselling sessions for anxiety and depression, teen groups, and community connection groups as a way to help us stay connected.  You can find the groups being offered at Essentials 2 Transformation on Facebook for current information or call and talk with me about your specific needs or groups that you would like to see hosted in your communities!  I look forward to connecting and serving in this great community! About Kimberly

I grew up in rural Northern Alberta. I know farming, oil and gas, and the unique challenges we face in this part of the world. Our relationships can be especially challenging with work and locale. Oil-patch widow is a familiar term, and I know getting out to see people can be difficult.

Because of our unique challenges, finding the help we need if we get stuck in our grief process can be especially difficult, and when we do find someone, that professional may not be able to relate to our situation.

I can relate to you. I understand your circumstances. It is possible to overcome major depressive disorder, suicidal thoughts, anxiety disorder, and more.

Regardless of our unique scenario, there is hope; I have seen it. I believe in you, even when you don’t believe in yourself.

I have overcome so many things to get where I am now, even living in the isolation you also know. I have learned how to love people. I have learned how to let go of expectations and trust God. I have learned how to love myself, which allows me to love others.

I want to help you do so too.
